Change Lives and Inspire Young Minds.
The Riverside County District Attorney’s Office takes juvenile crime very seriously, and we are committed to trying to reduce crime by preventing it before it occurs. If we can steer young people away from crime, we can reduce crime and at the same time, improve the lives of these young people. Many young people lack positive role models, or fail to obtain the positive role models that they need to encourage them to make positive choices in life. This event will be an opportunity for our successful Porsche owning PCA members to briefly interact with young people within their county, and provide a positive message.
Location: Riverside County Alan M. Crogan Youth Treatment Center
8:00am – 12:00pm
Anyone who attends the event and would like to speak to the group about their life experience or how they came to own their car is highly welcomed. Many of the young people at YTEC come from socially and financially depressed families and communities. Many of the young people are actually very intelligent, but due to their poor life circumstances, were not able to succeed in school. While some of the young people will graduate high school and pursue college, some of them will pursue trades or other forms of work. The goal is to encourage them to know that all forms of a profession – whether it is via education, a skill, a service, etc. – can lead to a successful life that would enable them to buy and own a car they would enjoy, even a Porsche. Any owner who can highlight their own life path – the hard work they took to become successful, and demonstrate that even someone who wasn’t “born rich” can achieve success.

If you have any questions.
There will be approximately 25-50 adolescents who will be attending.
Our goal is that some PCA members would be willing to share with the group how they developed into a successful member of society. It may involve a story of how they were successful in their education, opening or running a business, or any other aspect of their live where they have persevered and become successful. These would be small casual talks of 5 minutes or less.
