Hello Riverside Region:
Many thanks to David Stewart, who just hosted a very successful Tour, Hike and Lunch. It was a fun event, with 14 Porsches ( 356, 914, 911, Cayman, Boxster, Panamera) taking a pleasant drive through the Desert hills, followed by the 28-person group taking a beautiful hike into the Whitewater Preserve, and then lunch on the patio at Lulu’s Bistro in Palm Springs.
Please remember that if you are planning to attend the Porsche Parade in Monterrey this June, registration is now open at http://parade2014.pca.org/.
Saturday, April 5, is our Monthly Breakfast Social Meeting at Gramma’s Country Kitchen. We will be discussing our up-coming social events for April, May and June, as well as a view into our plans for our annual Porsche Timeline Exhibition at Lake Arrowhead in September, and our newly created RsR Installation and Awards Banquet that is scheduled for January 10, 2015 (replaces our December Holiday Party).
Also on April 5 and 6, is the California Festival of Speed at the Auto Club Speedway in Fontana. Several Members are planning to attend the event after our Saturday breakfast and/or on Sunday. If you go, please note that if you are traveling west on the I10, that the Cherry Ave exit is closed for repairs, so get off early on the Citrus Ave exit going north, and then take a left on Merrill Ave to the Speedway.
On Thursday evening April 17, Precision Motion will host another informative Tech Session. Check our Calendar for details.
Then on April 26, John Soler will be hosting our annual Idyllwild Tour and Breakfast, which is a beautiful drive up the mountain, followed by breakfast at Café Aroma. To register, use the event link http://msreg.com/IdyllwildTour
On May 3, we will have our monthly Breakfast Social Meeting at Gramma’s Country Kitchen.
Keep the shiny side up,
