Good Morning Riverside Region,
Thank you to all members who join us with Sky at the 2nd annual Mastershield Meetup.
Sky always has such great hospitality for us at his shop http://www.mastershieldprotection.com/ and is very informative when it comes to protecting our Porsches with Xpel and 3M Paint Protection Film and Heat & UV blocking window films.
After this Saturday’s upcoming Breakfast Social we will be heading out on another exciting Driving Tour. Roy’s Cafe will be the first stop and is located on Historic Route 66 in Amboy, California. The town of Amboy itself is in the Mojave desert. The site of Roy’s has become an icon for a lonely desert gas stop due to the multiple appearances of Roy’s famous Googie-styled sign in movies, commercials and more. Amboy has it all: airport, garage, cafe, school, church, graveyard, even a volcanic crater. Yet most of it is not operating anymore. We then will depart into the Joshua Tree National Park. The Park Fee is 20$ per car and more info can be found here. https://www.nps.gov/jotr/index.htm
We recommend signing up online for the Driving Tour here – msreg.com/AmboyCraterTourPCA
You can pay after breakfast but this slows down the process.
The California Festival of Speed is only a few weekends away too! I’m looking forward to seeing everyone at one of the largest Porsche events of the year!
John Soler will be hosting his annual Idyllwild Driving Tour and Lunch at Cafe Aroma to close out the month of April. Details below. Sign up here msreg.com/IdyllwildTour2016PCA
